Umami Sushi — Restaurant in Ath

Great option for a delicious and efficient sushi meal. Favorite items are Gunkan Saumon épicé and saumon mi-cuit. Incredibly convenient with online ordering. You are able to see the cart and order for pick up with an option to pay either in cash or by credit card at pick up (no option so far to pay directly online). When ordering online you can select a time to pick up or the soonest available time which is usually around one hour from when the order is input. Picking up can be slower than expected as they prepare each order individually when you arrive to pay so there is often a line. And they ask for each condiment whether you want it or not which can be tedious (sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce, soy sauce trays, wasabi, number of chopsticks). These options should be indicated online to make the pick up more efficient. Otherwise, the sushi is delicious and fresh and the employees are friendly. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! We ordered to go, and ask to use the toilet and the waitress said no. What kind of restaurant doesn’t have a toilet. As much as the food, I value the service for the restaurant and this place is no good. As an asian, their sushi isn’t so impressive and yet what a customer service they provide. NEVER AGAIN HERE!!!

Thank you for your asnwer! But, I understand and speak french. I asked her where is the toilet in french and she answered me that sorry no toilet. that’s all. There was no explanation or anything. You think I we communicate in english but as you pointed out no one speaks english and I speak french whole time. Your employees must have informed you things wrong. J'aime pas mettre le max d'étoile, même si j'ai passé un super moment... Mais umami est l'une des exceptions qui confirme la règle.

5 étoile à la cuisine, car tout est bon et sent le frais. (et si ça l'est pas, bah du coup bravo, car c'est bon malgré tout).

Le service 5 car personnel toujours souriant et agréable. Que ça soit au téléphone ou en face, ils ne sont jamais excédé par une commande (en tout cas, pas les miennes).

Et 5 pour l'ambiance car quand on y va (du moins quand moi je m'y rend), on sent la passion et l'envie de proposer des bons trucs, que l'équipe entre elle semble paisible et respectueuse, ça se ressent, et ça nous donne envie de continuer à commander voir même à rester (je n'ai jamais mangé sur place, mais ça me dérangerai pas).

Et si on parle d'ambiance de type déco, musique,... Bah là pareil, ça fait pas bordélique, c'est agréable, enfin bref, avis déjà trop long juste pour dire qu'au final, c'est juste parfait. Y a rien de mieux dans les environs, c'est les chef !
