La Grange Gourmande — Restaurant in Bertogne

HOME COOKED MEAL AT FRIENDLY FAMILY. You go here for a family cooked meal. It feels like visiting a neighbor, an old friend, or cousin, where you end up sitting in his garden, while life goes on.

It is therefore not a stylish place, nor very tidy organized. The small garden seating at the side of the house feels fresh when hot because it’s covered.

The menu is concise: eggs, entrecote, brochette of meat, burger, poke bowl, and fish. A big plus is that all ingredients are locally sourced or produced. The owner explained us how she got some ingredients from her own garden, some next doors, while others as fresh as she could get.

The French fries are delicious (you could ask for a little less salt) and the burger is nice (you could ask for a little less sauce). All in all a four ** place, considering quality and price you pay. Definitely a place we recommend and we hope to...

Vriendelijk echtpaar en het eten was niet slecht maar ook niet waauw.....jammer dat er geen aandacht noch tijd wordt gespendeerd aan het poetsen van het interieur, ramen, verzorgen planten of afkuisen van de tafels : overal poezenharen en restanten van eten....dat maakt dat we niet echt hebben...

Deuxième visite et j'en suis repartie rassasiée. Derrière cette façade se cache un chef qui prépare ses plats avec fraîcheur et passion. Des portions généreuses à des prix abordables. Un accueil et un service chaleureux. Un grand choix de spécialités variées. Nous reviendrons...
