Yume Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Bierbeek

Excellent Sushi-bar!

The good: Tasty food, caring personnel, nice location, comfortable interior. We order different dishes for take-away - it's never disappointing for us! Had some guests from abroad - and we ordered a 100-piece "boat" for 6 people! Our guests were amazed on how tasty that food was (sushi, sashimi, various rolls, edamame, etc). The bad - location allows just 4-5 cars to park (within 30m distance) close to the bar - the rest have to go and search for a place along the road. For a take-away that is an unpleasant detail, IF there is no free parking spot nearby!

We tried the food yesterday from Yume, we had a take away. We bought their rolls vegetarian and chicken, and we got Red curry. The rolls were nice. The curry was horrible, it was like a bland runny sauce with a few pieces of boiled chicken floating around. Luckily the kids could eat the rolls. We ended up throwing the curry in the bin and ate a piece of bread with nutella. It was so disappointing honestly, I did not expect this from a place with such high reviews. Maybe their cold dishes are better - kind of afraid...

Once again I am waiting for my order for 20 minutes or more. The restaurant consistently does not respect the order times which makes it a big no-go for me moving forward. Time management is key and I am confident other places will respect my time better and hence will get my business...
