We have been in Da Pasquale 7 times over the last 5 years. Just before corona put everything in lock-down, we ate fantastically there, it was really superb. Sunday, we went back and were in great expectation for a wonderful time. The people were friendly, the location was nice, the amuse-gueules were nice and the appetizers were really good. At that time, a large group of people entered the restaurant to have some sort of celebration and at that point I feared that the chef was up for a challenge. The main dishes came and the pasta pesto was horrible: 40 cl of garlic oil with pasta and a bit of Parmesan powder, the pasta was drowning in the oil. When I made a remark that this is not a proper dish, they toke it away and brought it back with even more oil and the remark that the chef makes it like this for the last 30 years? My daughter had escalope de veau pizzaiola and this dish had no seasoning and was bland. One of us had taken a pasta with salmon, but the salmon was nowhere to be found, but for a very tiny piece. After the main dish, we asked the bill and that was it. No apology was given. This was the last time that we went there and also the last time I will recommend this restaurant to someone.
