The following happened to me in this restaurant: I ordered fish that I found completely inedible (although I am a big fish lover who has tried a great variety of differents types of fish, also differently cooked). It was noticed by the waiter that I couldn't eat my order, they took it to the chef to try. Some minutes after they returned with the words: "Our chef thinks this dish is good and he ate it. So we are sorry that you didn't like it."

I was completely confused: so do they mean that my opinion about fish is worth nothing while the only opinion that matters is the one of the chef?

I also had to pay for the dish that was eaten by the chef.

In the restaurants where I usually go the chef would appear himself to talk to the customer and maybe explain why the dish was "special", offer something in place or suggest taking it off the bill.

The chef in this restaurant, the "star" as they position on the website didn't care that his customer left the restaurant hungry, but also...

We had a lovely lunch at Silo’s in a cozy and atmospheric setting. My companion opted for the scallops and the “Onglet,” both of which were excellently prepared and full of flavor. My choice, the Porterhouse "Oedslagh," unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. The steak was served bleu (froid), despite having requested it saignant.
The herb butter was fridge-cold, and the steak, advertised as 450 grams, seemed a bit on the smaller side. *side note: We had specifically asked if it was possible to receive our dishes at a certain time due to a tight schedule.
While the friendly staff accommodated this perfectly, I suspect this may have caused the meat to not rest sufficiently, resulting in a tougher texture that impacted the overall experience. Nevertheless the steak should have been...

I do not wish to exaggerate but this was a wonderful meal in a very stylish restaurant with ideal service. The food I took was very modern without being needlessly trendy - a scallop carpaccio with Jerusalem artichokes and skate with potatoes and chicory. Both dishes could not be faulted for concept or execution. The layout of the interior is cosy without being cluttered. Our waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing or intrusive. I wish I could eat this...

Located at a big street but the building and how its decorated inside is really outstanding. Also the menu is well designed and what you get served, is very well prepared and served. Can really advice the 'beenmerg' starter. Nice and pollite service and the sommelier is lifting the whole experience to an unexpexted high level on top. You'll have a great casual time with friends or family.
