Ô Vieux Brienne — Restaurant in Bouillon

This was by far our favorite dinner during our 2-week trip in Belgium and that is saying a lot as we ate at excellent restaurants during our trip, including 2 different Michelin restaurants. Gladys (the owner) made us feel right at home once we walked into her restaurant, explains the different dishes (she has quite a few to choose from) and wow, the meals, many based on her grandmother’s recipes, are just exquisite and flavorful. On top of that, you can tell that Gladys truly has a passion for excellent cooking and wanting her guests to feel taken care of. This is a must visit restaurant if you are in the area. Dit is ééntje die je niet voorbij moet rijden. Een Vlaams stel waarbij gastronomie en plezier ervan af spat. Jan staat in de keuken maakt fantastische sauzen en heerlijke gerechten Gladdys doet de zaal. Gladdys heeft het vak door haar aderen stromen en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Ik heb er nu 3 keer gegeten maar het is iedere keer weer alsof je even terug gaat in de tijd, je maakt kennis met een soort gastronomie die je zelden nog op zo'n manier tegen komt.
