Point de vue — Restaurant in Bouillon

We arrived on a busy day, the kitchen and the bar were closed for the next 20 minutes as informed by the staff but not before one of their waitress ignore three times in the lobby, finally after a disturbing and weird explanation of the situation by the staff, we were seated on the terrace outside, I mean we had to take a seat by ourselves. The drink order was okay but to order the food it was a battle as the menu is wrongly displaying serving all day non stop but in the end we ordered the bruschettas and a chocolate crepe which was tasty and well served but the vegetarian plate was poor with just cold fried tofu from the day before or even older who knows, raw carot with some guacamole and chickpeas mash. They offered us a bottle of gas water to apologize after arguing over their menu with 3 different waitress/waiter. This started on a wrong foot but ended well however some of the staff are very poorly trained, lack experience and not very efficient. Overall it was fine but we probably won't come back especially as it is not much friendly for veggie and...

The view is just... Holy cow.

The food was one of the worst things I've ever eaten in a restaurant, however. The mayonnaise was lovely and the fries were perfect, but the lobster burger tasted like washing up liquid. While the scallops were delicious, the rest of the risotto hardly had any taste. Perhaps, like many places in rural Wallonia and France, they just don't really know how to deal with vegetarians/piscetarians. From other reviews, their meat dishes seem great. There's not many veggie options anyway.

Of course, you pay for the view, so we expected high prices and didn't expect great food. That would've been worth it because the view is quite something. But... the food was just beyond bad, so we feel forced to leave a negative review.

Very very nice view, the food also looked good but we didnt get to try, we arrived around 1.30, at least 4-5 tables were free in the beautiful terrace. We waited to be seated, nobody came. After 5 minutes we went and called them to come, that is when they asked if we will eat or we are here just for drinks, we said we will have drinks and one dish to share (we were 2), they told us unless we order separate dishes we cannot sit on the terrace which is ridiculous, so we left which is a shame, because the view was gorgeous and the food looked good too, but it is not acceptable that they think i will be bullied into ordering more than what i want to eat.
