Pistolet — Restaurant in Bruges

What a discovery, so sad we didn’t find it earlier! A little way out from the centre, but worth the walk/bus ride/bike ride. Ample parking for vehicles or bikes and accessible via a nice walk along the canal from Katelijnepoort.

We found it three days ago and have returned daily ever since!

The menu consists of a wide range of delicious, freshly prepared pistolets and nourishing, well-flavoured soups that vary daily plus well-dressed salads. Everything is super-fresh and attractively served by a very efficient, welcoming, and informative waitress.

We are super fussy Vegans who not only require a plant-based diet but want it to be health-giving too and Café Pistolet delivered.

WARNING: The café is obviously very popular with locals so wise to book or get there early. We arrived about noon each day and the place soon filled up.

Lovely friendly atmosphere, dine in or out and, although fairly near a busy road, it has a great ambiance….. even sat outside, watching the boats pass on the canal. Open late too.
