I came across this interstingly located restaurant as i was on a bike ride today. I arrived shortly after 11:30 and there were customers rhere already and some tables were reserved. Initially i didn 't know that i was going to eat there and sat in an area for those who only wanted a drink. The waiter who served me was very attentiveand i ordered a " house beer". On the menue i saw eel in different variations and chose one ... a half portion. I received a small starter of unpulled shrimps and took " frietjes" or chips / pommes with the eel. Read moreThis restaurant was a truly pleasant surprise. One of the highlights is the lovely summer terrace — perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with everything tasting fresh and well-prepared. They also have a grill, and the dishes cooked over it were especially flavorful — you can really taste the quality ingredients and the care put into the preparation.
The interior has a charming, authentic feel. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design — from the cozy details to the overall ambiance, everything feels warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease, whether you’re just stopping by for lunch or staying longer for a full dinner.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place that combines great food with a peaceful and thoughtfully...

Everything here is perfected and just-right. The servers wear white coats with golden buttons and shoulder-epaulettes. The tables are covered in red-white gingham. Side dishes are served in metal crockery you’ll recognise from your old school or that restaurant you and your parents used to go to. The staff are super capable, trained and straightforward. I suspect they’ve been here for quite some time. As for the menu: all classic for fair prices. I do recommend making a reservation, it gets pretty busy, as this is a very...
