't Ateljeeken — Restaurant in Dendermonde

A very laid back atmosphere or vibe if you will ... nice, attentionate and friendly staff. Some aperitif were to my partner's and my sense somewhat on the expensive side ... but the price of the dishes on the menu are reasonable. Good value. Good size portions. All complementary orders of fries, mayonnaise, ... are for free !! Where does one find this these days ? Try and book a table outside if you make reservations when the sun is out ! After a day of walking around in the broader area, found this place close to our BnB. The staff gave a warm welcome, were super friendly and it was such a cosy place to dine!

Then there was the food, this was really a great experience, with a variety of ‘special’ dishes you don’t find in every Belgian restaurant. Portions are good, taste was great.

Gezellig dineren doe je bij 'T Ateljeeken. Cosy dining has never been this good. Very friendly staff and pleasing environment, the walls are decorated with paintings by the owner's family members which are nice to look at. But above all else the food is delicious, which also explains why there's not a big menu, only the best of the best comes out of the kitchen. Waiting times are...
