We stayed at a cute little B&B not far from Le Cor de Chasse so we decided to go here for dinner as there weren't too many other dining options around. Our expectations weren't extremely high because we found the prices to be quite cheap for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Maybe we're just not used to Belgian prices because we were very positively surprised, what a great find!||||The interior is beautiful, it's an old farmhouse that has been renovated into a modern and elegant restaurant, while still keeping it's charming authenticity. We were seated right by the window, which I can highly recommend as you will have the best view over their pretty garden. ||||Service was fantastic, and so was the food. We had the 'smaller' menu découverte which really isn't that small at all. Trust me, you will not leave the restaurant hungry by choosing this menu. Presentation was always spot on and the flavours were fantastic, nothing was bland or underseasoned. My favourite dishes were the shrimp amuse-bouche (sort of like a deconstructed shrimp croquette), the raw smoked beef, the very tasty fish and the lamb. The latter was probably the best overall, as it was soo tender and the sauce tasted amazing. ||||The wine menu is great, with a huge selection and (from memory) prices starting at only +/- 30 euros for a bottle of red.||||In terms of price/quality I highly recommend...

Read moreWe spent only one night - unfortunately. The hotel is remote, hard to find but once you get there, there is nothing but tranqility, serenity and happiness. ||Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable, located in the old "Bergerie", the only thing it needed was goot bedside reading lamps, but after our sumptious meal, we fell asleep instantly.||The weather cooperated and we had our apéritif on the terrace, served graciously by the lady of the house (pink sparkling wine from Portugal, a delight). We already felt relaxed when - after three different "amuse gueules", we were asked into the dining room. We had booked a discovery package that included accomodation, breakfast, dinner and all accompanying wines. It was spectacular. From the appetizers to the bread to dessert. Best of all, the service was relaxed the atmosphere too and they poured a decent glass of wine. As a wine drinker, I have been to too many posh places who give you a tast to wet your tongue and call it a class of wine for which they charge you an arm and a leg. Not here.||We had the most enjoyable experience and will send all of our friends, of course, we will return ourselves.||Outstanding value for money here. Thank you....
