Pita Geel — Restaurant in Geel

Pitta Geel sounded like a regular pitta bar, but upon entering, it's immediately clear they are more than that. Besides pitta & and kebab, there are plenty of other dishes. They also provide sauce bottles so you don't have to choose a sauce but rather get 6 sauces, which you can pick to your heart's desire.

Good to know is that this place accessible for the youngest ones. The well-known Ikea antilop is present (3 or 4 of them), and in the toilets they have the required facilities to change diaper for your little one (diapers and wipes you have to bring yourself).

The pace is located in Nieuwstraat which is pretty much the main street if Geel. The place is kept nice and clean (toilets including) with nice interior. The walls are occupied with paintings created by local artists. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I would recommend the BBQ pizza and get some homemade chocolate mousse!!!! The food we ordered was delivered super late and it was cold. The pasta with mushrooms that I ordered was basically pasta with some tomato passata on top of it that you can buy in every store. There were almost no mushrooms to be found and the few ones that I ate didn't taste fresh. It was almost like the mushrooms were dried out.The dish in general was almost flavourless.
