We really enjoyed the natural surroundings and the nearby hiking and cycling trails. The venue offers plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, and there were many attentive waiters ensuring every table was well taken care of. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place.
All the dishes we tried were delicious—a thoughtful blend of flavors that worked very well together. The only dish we didn’t enjoy was the cheese plate, which included fresh goat cheese and a cucumber gelée; however, that’s just a matter of personal taste. Aside from that, everything—including the amuse-bouche, a surprisingly tasty celery salad—was excellent.
The service was warm and kind. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the wine service. I opted for the wine forfait, which included half a bottle. Since my partner didn’t want to drink much, we agreed that the half-bottle option was best. However, they brought a full bottle to the table and simply mentioned that half was ours. This made the experience a bit awkward, as it was hard to judge exactly how much to pour. It might be more practical to serve the wine pre-measured in a small carafe or similar container to make the...
Read moreWe visited on 11th February and were expecting wonderful food and service given the positive reviews and lovely look of the restaurant.
We found something quite different - as soon as we walked in, we were met by an aggressive lady who could not find our booking despite us having confirmed digitally (twice) and by phone and after a lengthy and fairly hostile debate, where we were blamed for not booking correctly, a table was found!
The menu was very over priced for what it was and the food looked lovely but did not deliver at all. It was clearly very rushed and executed poorly. Flavours did not work and sometimes clashed, excessive seasoning, poorly cooked meats and this was all wrapped around by a very rushed and nonchalant service from the waiters.
Don't go here, its not an honest restaurant with honest food or honest prices, it survives on its location and lack of local competition. There are much better restaurants in the region which are priced similiarly
I would have given it two stars if it wasn't for the large bill we had to pay which was painful experience given my...
Read moreDinner at The Bleue Maison is more than just good food, it is a complete religious experience where local produce and culinary artistry are your idols. I have never had a more delicious meal in my life and, in comparison to other fine dining experiences, the restaurant and its staff make you feels like you part of the family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and not stuffy or inaccessible at all. I have only been lucky enough to eat here twice so far, but I cannot wait to return. I can very much recommend if you do go, that you opt for whatever they have listed as their seasonal menu. It is always such a treat and every mouthful is specially curated to be the finest culinary experience you...
