A hidden gem on a busy road, yet inside you aren't aware you are on such a busy road. The atmosphere is inviting and serves you a warm cozy vibe. But wait there is more, in the back there is a nice patio and suddenly you are in a Mediterranean place, getting that vacation/holiday vibe. Extremely disappointing experience!!!! Apparently, they don’t just let anyone in you need to have a certain look to be accepted, which is completely unacceptable. My friends tried to have lunch there on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. The place was nearly empty (only two tables occupied), yet they were refused a table simply because they were wearing tennis clothes. Since when is that a problem for a casual Sunday lunch? I stopped in for a quick lunch today with my colleague and was blown away by the hospitality, atmosphere, &—most importantly—the food.

My colleague ordered the Caesar Salad—which he remarked was incredible— & I the Burrata Salad, which was the best I’ve had in my entire life.

As a vegetarian who has had a few hundred of these over the past 10 years, achieving that is no small feat.

Can’t recommend Bar Valeir enough. Don’t sleep on...
