Burger King — Restaurant in Hasselt

We set sail for Burger King, dreaming of that elusive One Piece promotion product. Instead, we found ourselves in the middle of a customer service filler episode that no one asked for.

From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed to channel their inner “villains of the day” – ignoring us, acting like we were invisible, and making us wait so long that I half expected to find a treasure map under the counter. When they finally acknowledged our existence, it felt like winning a battle… only to lose the war.

Why? Because they were out of the promotion product – a full month before the campaign’s end. It’s like reaching Raftel and realizing someone already took the One Piece. The place itself didn’t help either; it was dirty enough to make me question if I needed to roll up my sleeves and clean the table myself.

So there we were: tired, empty-handed, and contemplating why we hadn’t just stayed home and ordered a pizza. Verdict? If you’re looking for adventure, skip Burger King – you’ll find less drama and disappointment on...

Most of the food we ordered didn't taste like it was just made at all. Crispy chicken was soggy with almost no lettuce. The lettuce that was in it was clearly not fresh anymore (see photo). The bun tasted like it was past its freshness yet still used. And well on the whole it just wasn't crispy at all. Clearly not made to order despite the 10 minute wait and just one car with 2 people before us. The chili menu lacked toppings end ended up tasting dry and again, not fresh (almost no veggies and sauce in the sandwich). Fries were cold, but at least they didn't taste like they were made yesterday. Chicken strips were ok, bit overdone and dry but didn't taste old. Can't say much about kid's menu as they will eat anything that is burger and fries. Definitely not coming back as we had much better experiences at any German...

Aanrader! Dit is een zeer propere zaak: Het restaurant zelf, de tafels, het terras, vloer,kassa gedeelte en (reer belangrijk) de toiletten zijn er altijd proper,hygiënisch, en ruiken fris. Elke keer ik er al ben geweest nooit lange wachttijden. Vriendelijk personeel goede service. Ook pluspunt het handig en zeer makkelijk te bedienen is zelfbedienings scherm om je bestelling te plaatsen en betaling al te doen. Zo kan je rustig gaan tafelen zonder aanschuiven. In enkele minuten kan je je bestelling afhalen of ze brengen zelfs soms. Ik denk dit uit vriendelijkheid en hoort niet bij hun arbeidsbeschrijving. Dus haal je eten zelf als het klaar is en wacht niet op een medewerker. De gekrege bestelling die trouwens altijd al klopte is heerlijk! Geen smerige koude artikelen ertussen zoals vaak bij gelijkaardige fast-foodresto. Menu heeft ruime keuze en alles, echt alles kan je aanpassen of extras erbij doen. Bv. Elk product op elke burger kan je aanpassen of toevoegen. Natuurlijk ook veeel burgers die stuk voor stuk perfect zijn samengesteld.Dus prima voor fast food restaurant. Burger King eindelijk in België. Deze keten is trouwens mijn favoriete burgerketen. Je mag blijven! Sterker nog, ga nooit meer weg aub. Once you go Burger King you never go back. Same old mac so time to step back, The King is finaly in town, de rest wil kneel for the crown. Take home one to reminder thad you ar done.

Jaja al bij al korte samenvatting van mijn mening. Zeker eens bezoeken. Echt lekker. En de traditionele gaan toch weg en eens King smaak te pakken ga je zelf weg.
