Grill N Sushi — Restaurant in Hasselt

This is by far the worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life. To start with, I could tell straight away it was not fresh at all. The rice was a least one day old as it was very crumbly, dry and hard. There wasn't much fish on the rolls and some didn't even have any and the few pieces added didn't taste or look fresh. The nori used to make the rolls was dry and extremely chewy almost like chewing gum. This shouldn't happen when fresh nori is used to make sushi. The presentation was appalling! Some pieces were falling apart, irregular in size and didn't even include the correct ingredients; for example they forgot to add the scampi to some of the pieces of the tempura scampi. Unbelievable!

My friend used the social deal app and paid €35.90 which in my opinion is not worth at all. I still can't believe they claim in the app that the regular price for this platter would have been €64 for such mediocre sushi. Some people might say that you shouldn't expect good quality products when purchased using a social deal discount; however, this should never be the case. Regardless of how it was paid for, the quality of the sushi sold at this place is an insult to any customer and a risk to their health! Even the sushi freshly prepared at the nearby Carrefour supermarket is much better and safer to eat.

Had it not been for the fact that it had already been paid on the app and we had to catch 2 buses to go and pick it up, I would have returned it to the restaurant and asked for a refund. My honest advice is don't waste your money...
