Lunch Garden Kuringen — Restaurant in Hasselt

Food is ok. Nothing great. But for the price you pay, you cannot complain. The main reason who i give only one star are the toilets. To my understanding every restaurant is obliged to offer toilet service free of charge. If the toilet is from the shopping center the restaurant could offer a coin to access the toilet free of charge. Here there is nothing like that. After your meal you need to pay extra for the toilet. Today the quality of the meat used for the veal blaquet was very bad. Same happened with the lamb ragout 2 weeks ago. As I had already twice sole meunière , which was very good , twice tongue rolls with 3 pieces of asperges and once rabbit I chose the veal blanquet. Gisterenavond rond 18u15 mosselen ( natuur en look) gaan eten. De mosselen waren klein, maar lekker. We hebben wel geen extra portie zien langskomen! Waarschijnlijk waren we net op het drukste moment daar, want de wachtrij stond tot aan de deur. Op zich geen probleem want in deze tijden weet je dat je afstand moet houden en dat alles wat langer duurt. De chaos begon nadat wij ons drankje genomen hadden en het personeel met een volle kar mosselen natuur de rij in komt geschoven!! Geen afstand meer en tegen de looprichting in! Natuurlijk namen heel wat mensen graag die mosselen aan en weg was de social distancing. Vermits wij 2 verschillende soorten mosselen hadden, moesten wij gewoon in de rij blijven wachten. De mensen met mosselen natuur wilden doorschuiven naar de frietjes, waar het op dat moment plots een overrompeling was. Gevolg: heel wat mensen op een hoop samen. Aan de kassa was het dan plots ook heel druk en de wachtrij kwam tot aan de mensen die op eten stonden te wachten. Ik weet dat het personeel het niet slecht bedoelde en het wat vooruit wilde laten gaan, maar hierdoor werd een onveilige situatie gecreëerd en was er geen flow meer, zoals die ervoor wel was.
