Het Wagenhuis Horst — Restaurant in Holsbeek

What is supposed to be a medieval historical site is turned into some modern art place, The castle has been closed to public for several years and no real restaurant in progress visible...shame on Flanders patrimonial agency,. The two (used to be beautiful) ponds are smelly and look like mushy peas... All in all a massive let down. The pub itself (used to be the carriage stable) is still nice but they've put up a hideous...

We had dinner at this beautiful cozy place, and everything about it is just amazing! The food tasted so good !! And the highlight of our experience is the staff! They are super friendly and welcoming, they received our questions with a smile and they just made the whole experience beautiful. Good job to everyone...

Very well priced, and lovely to sit outside in the summer. Typical brasserie-style Belgian food but well cooked and nicely presented. Waitstaff were also super friendly and accommodating, and service was quick.
