Bistro 't Verschil — Restaurant in Hooglede

It had been a few years since my last visit but it made the disappointment that much bigger. Prices were what they have always been but the service and food started out promising and ended in a huge disappointment. While ordering we requested a sauce which we didnt got, there was no salad while the hostess said it was included. You could just order a big plate if you wanted to. The sommelier dropped off a plate of veggies when we were almost finished. It took a very long time between dishes while there was only limited visitors. And i had to find out where my coat was myself. How they are still in the gault millau is a mistery to me. Little feedback for the sommelier: treat your guests with a bit more respect. Geen toffe sfeer, 50€ betalen voor een fles due je in de winkel voor 15€ kunt vinden. Eten kwam veel te rap achter elkaar op 20min tijd 2 voorgerechten en hoofdgerecht. Serveerster was onbeleefd en onbeschoft. We waren casual gekleed en werden al scheef aangekeken toen we nogmaar binnen kwamen. 250€ voor een etentje met 2, moeite niet waart. Iedereen kreeg bij aankomen wijnkaart. Wij moesten er nog achter vragen. Toen ik na het eten de desertkaart wou zien kreeg ik het antwoord. Ja da komt wel nog kga da straks voor kijken. Onbeschoft, niet gezellig en heel hoog in de bol geschoten serveerster! Komen wij niet meer terug! Schande dat zulke plekken nog bestaan. Eten was al bij al oke niet wow en zeker niet voor de prijs die je betaald. Entre qoute was meer wet dan iets. Nooit meer, bistro ´verschil’ ja vree verschillend van normale restaurants. De kloten.
