Chaud au coeur — Restaurant in Hotton

We were visiting Belgium and picked this place for my sister's birthday dinner. I don't know if the folks working there were family but they were all really kind. One lady speaks some english and the menu is generally readable. I had the omelette and fries which come with a warm gravy. My sister had the chicken with mushroom sauce. We both had a salad and wine. Parking is a little tight so we parked around the corner by the river. Good experience and prices were good. Be sure to tell them where in the world you are from. A Nice and neat Place for a quick and cheap bite. The food is of a high quality, the staff is nice and well spoken an array of different languages and we even got a complementary drink at the end. The terras was nice with a view of the street, but not directly on the street so you do not have any disturbance from the road. Overall a good and cheap place to eat and enjoy a nice sunny...

Bien sûr, je ne m'attendais pas à manger de la gastronomie, mais là c'était vraiment pas terrible. J'aurais certainement mieux mangé chez moi. Et payer autant pour mal manger, ça reste vraiment sur l'estomac. C'est d'ailleurs ce qui nous est arrivé. Mes amis et moi n'avons pas digéré ce que nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant. Vraiment déçu. J'étais confiant en regardant les photos et les avis mais je n'y remettrai plus les pieds.

Le personnel est sympa mais je pense que certains aspects du service sont à revoir, notamment dans la façon de s'adresser au client. Petit point positif quand même, les assiettes sont bien remplies et la partie friterie semble de meilleure qualité que la partie restaurant. Je pense qu'ils devraient se concentrer sur ce qui marche bien pour eux, et pas vouloir faire trop de plats puisque la qualité n'est manifestement pas au...
