For my latest visit, I placed an online order at 7 pm with a scheduled pick-up time of 7:25 pm, arriving promptly. Regrettably, I found myself waiting until 7:50 pm to receive my order. This delay was aggravated by inconsistent information, as I was informed that my order was still in preparation. Kuurne pokebowl is by far the best in the area, (my previous review was posted on the wrong location). Staff is always kind and helpful, they explain every aspect of the 5-step process of creating your bowl. My personal favorite is the sweet chicken with garlic sauce, sesame seeds, green vegetables & cherry tomatoes! Vegan options as-well. A wide sauce variety and toppings to your liking. The rice isn’t great. I think they don’t use enough water to cook it. It was kind of hard, and there was a chunk of burnt black rice in there. They did remake the bowl, which was nice! But the rice was still al dente and not fluffy as it is supposed to be… Very sad, as it was the first time to take my parents there. I always had the best bowls in the Hawaiian in the centre of Kortrijk so this was quite the disappointment...
