Having high hope for this meal as it is a 2-Michelin star restaurant, situated in the hotel we are staying and we wanted to celebrate my BD here. Well, food was great, almost to the point that we can call “perfect”, but services was very disappointing! Dinner started at 7.30 pm and didn’t end until after 11 pm, and that was because we asked for the bill. That was after 2 waiters came asking if we wanted coffe or tea or not, and we said no. The most impressive part to me is the creativity of the chef, the menu has changed a lot since our first visit last year, and the quality of the food remains at the top level, just with more pleasant surprise!
The service is very nice and professional, but has small room for improvement, I really think that is the only missing part for the restaurant to become a 3 stars, for instance it still happened that the dish is already on the table but the paired wine is not yet served. Also would be nicer if we were informed that the BOB wine pairing has no price difference from the full wine pairing when we requested it.
Overall I am super happy with every visit to Ralf Berendsen, and I cannot wait for...
