Service is friendly. I think they keep a small staff because it takes quite a while to prepare the meals, but we're happy with the food when it comes. Everything is very fresh as in it's VERY fresh, like brand new unseasoned cooking oil in the fryer and garden produce, you can taste the individual ingredients. It''s not the usual drowning in salty umami heavy "Chinese restaurant" flavor. It's closer to a home cooked meal.
