I don’t recommend this place due to complete inflexibility, which amounts to poor customer service. We were a large group and were told beforehand that we only had the choice of 3 main dishes. On the day we arrived, it was very hot and I didn’t feel like eating cooked meats or fish, so I asked to have the chef’s salad instead. The waiter said no, which I can understand because of the need to cook the seafood for that salad. So, that was fair enough. But he was rude and inflexible when I asked for a Greek salad instead. Greek salad involves ZERO cooking - it’s cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, onions and olives. It is not hard to make this - any good kitchen has these vegetables pre-cut - especially on such a busy day. The menu was not set due to price as we were still paying the a la carte prices. With this kind of treatment and poor customer service, I won’t be back, and in fact, I would have left if I wasn’t in a big group with my husband’s family. The only stars I have given are for the outside playground and the helpfulness of the staff who were kind enough to let me have ice for my children’s cups. I will never eat there again - in fact, I didn’t eat. I asked for a doggy bag to take the food I was forced to order but did not want to eat on...
Read moreThe kitchen isn't capable of keeping up with the amount of tables. We waited an hour for our starter, an hour and a half for our main course. Drinks only taken when we signaled the 3rd waiter passing. It was mother's day, so full house. But please don't put more tables than you can actually handle. Second time we've had this experience. The food was also subpar. Fish plate had virtually no fish, just cheese. The suggestion of asperges and porto sauce had a burned bitter sauce. If you go during the week when it's calm this is never the case. Reduce seating or change your weekend cook to keep your standard set during week days. You can't raise prices and drop quality the way it's...
Read moreNice surroundings and great place to sit outside. Thumbs up for choice of non-alcoholic drinks, beers and even aperitifs. It's a pity the beer offer is like in every other cafe, but the choice is wide enough to choose. The main disappointment was tiramisu which... was not tiramisu at all. You get bowl full of cream with a few ladyfingers that are half dry with chocolate on top. I understand experimenting with a shape, but you shouldn't miss ingredients (cocoa) and completely miss proportions of the dessert which made it much more heavy and hard to...
