Sorrento — Restaurant in Liedekerke

I had high expectations for this restaurant after it was recommended to me, but unfortunately we waited about 1.5 hours for our main dish to arrive. My cannelloni was extremely salty - so salty that I only had 2 bites and took some offered pizza from my dinner partners :( We complained to the owner/manager about having waited from 19:15 until 20:45 to get our food, but were informed that it was a busy night and that the pizza kitchen and their other kitchen don't work in conjunction and can also delay orders. It appears that we would have been better off getting pizza take away at the front of the restaurant. The pizzas were good, but as I said, my pasta was not. I didn't complain about it as I was already fed up with the drama of waiting. The four of us got a glass of red wine each on the house, so that made up a little for the unfortunate situation. Perhaps it was just a bad night on the restaurant's part, but the overall experience was...

Just from ordering pizza I can give them 5 stars. It was ready to pick up in 20 minutes and the taste was incredibly good.

Update: unfortunately you don’t update your working hours on google so I drove till there only to find that it’s closed one hour before...

Een zeer leuke zaak met veel ruimte, ze staan redelijk bekend voor hun lekkere pizza’s. Ook hebben ze sinds 6 jaar geleden een nieuwe zaak er bij gekocht ( Vesper) die ze samen met het restaurant hebben uitgebreid. Il Sorrento is een italiaans restaurant waar je pasta, steak en nog zoveel lekkers kunt eten. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en staan altijd bereid om je meer uitleg te geven over de gerechten en de suggesties van de week. De zaak is gelegen in Liedekerke rechtover de parking. Ideaal dus, de prijzen zijn heel democratisch en het interieur is zeer gezzelig. Helemaal vanvoor van het restaurant bevindt zich de houtoven waar de smeurige pizza’s worden gemaakt. Die kan je zowel binnen eten als takeaway meenemen :) De pizza’s worden ook vers bereid!!! Zeker...
