Khao Thai & Sushi — Restaurant in Lommel

The restaurant has a high rating, and we traveled to this place to enjoy an authentic taste of Thai food, as we previously lived in Thailand. Additionally, we are big sushi lovers.

Unfortunately, the taste of the Tom Yam soup was far from authentic. It was a simple soup with chicken, tomato, and onion, lacking the distinctive flavors of real Tom Yam.

The sushi mix was large but had an entirely ordinary taste, similar to what you might find at a supermarket sushi corner like Kaufland or Rewe.

My wife also ordered the Thai salad Yum Woon Sen, which she has had many times in Thailand. While the salad was okay, it tasted nothing like the original version.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but overall, I would say this is a regular restaurant with a ranking of 3.5 to 3.8, and it does not deserve the 4.7 score it...

Lekker gegeten. Het kleine restaurantje is heel leuk ingericht. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en in orde. Fijn dat je nu binnen kan zitten eten. Maar 1 grote minpunt....het is super benauwd binnen. Er is geen goede ventilatie. Hoop dat het snel opgelost wordt, want we willen weer graag komen eten. Daarom geef ik...

Personeel is vriendelijk,

Online bestellen is niet mogelijk en de menukaart is niet leesbaar. De bestelling die ik heb gedaan bij een dame die geen Nederlands spreekt. ongewild een kip bami gerecht wat we weg gaan gooien en Cola wat we niet drinken.

Ook geen stokjes er bij en voor 60 stuks sushi 1 mini potje...
