The restaurant and taproom for Trappist beer Westmalle, spacious spaces with an outdoor playground (kids are extremely happy there). They serve a special tap beer with a blend of their triple and dubbel and call it Half-Half. Worth to try, or simply get a tasting package of their all three beers. Get ready for an overcrowded place if you go from lunch to dinner time. I went there to a tour scheduled twice a year including 3 dishes and a tour around the Abbey of Wetmalle. It started with a video about the bar and the Trappist products. Then a wonderful cheese croquette and stofvlees stewed in their own beer. The tour was in Dutch and it included a little pray inside the walls of the abbey and another video about Trappist products and life.
