A restaurant next to an expressway, must suck, right ?
As we've only recently discovered, they serve food that is strongly French inspired, something I appreciate.
Their kitchen is good and up a few levels to what you are served in the city, without the drama and pretension nor price. In everything we've tried so far, the base ingredients were of high quality and the portions were generous. They added more to the menu's in the aspects I enjoy in French kitchen, and tune down what I like a bit less whils staying true to a French palette.
Expect to pay a bit more as average and you won't have the lake-view and the menu wont be like a phone-book. But you'll get passion from the kitchen, and very capable staff and a light pleasant buzz. This is a little pearl...
Read moreI loved the place! Very confortable with friendly people and nice food. I ordered salmon with salad and French fries. The fish was awesome! High quality, mouthwatering and enjoyable. I loved every minute of eating it, plus the salad was a good combination along the tenderness of the fish. Also the tenderness of the meat that my family ordered was divine. I've never tasted such meat so divine and tender. I have no other words to describe it, 'tender'. The prices are a little expensive but it was worth it. Totally. Read moreVery good food. They have several options of meat, fish and even vegetarian. So it should have something for everybody. If it isn't that busy, the service is rather quick. Even your food will be prepared really fast. But as soon as the restaurant gets filled, the waiting times increase a lot. Especially during weekends when it's nice weather outside I would calculate some delays.
The entrance is not really easy to open in a wheelchair, so I wouldn't suggest it. You have a large parking for wheelchairs...
