A Heartwarming Thai Culinary Experience Before Heading to the Airport.

Before heading to the airport, we made a quick stop in the area to transfer buses and stumbled upon this highly rated Thai family restaurant. What a hidden gem!

The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming — her hospitality made us feel like we were visiting an old friend rather than dining at a restaurant. After a week without rice, we were absolutely thrilled to enjoy steaming hot, authentic Thai food again. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, but the highlight was definitely the stir-fried morning glory with shrimp paste (Malaysian-style belacan). It was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection!

To our surprise, the owner even treated us to some delicious homemade cake — such a sweet gesture! We were especially touched by how kind and caring she was, even going out of her way to help us get to the airport. It was such a rare and heartfelt act that we’ll never forget.

My girlfriend and I had less than 1 hour to get our food and run back to the station to catch our train, first we called to make sure she had vegan options available. She said no but there were a few dishes that she could veganize. And I also told her that we need to catch our train so she would be aware of that. So we walked 15min to the restaurant, she immediately recognized me and helped us with our order, she asked the clients if she could prepare our food first and they accepted. She even went somewhere and found chopsticks for us so we could eat in the train. I just loved how kind she was, and how much she helped us. Edited, From station 10 min walk. (In the rain). On Google it was open. We entered but was not possible to have food. When we asked maybe a coffee because we walked, also not possible.
