Uno Due — Restaurant in Sint-Truiden

We recently visited Uno Due for a work dinner following our annual sales meeting, and it was a positive experience overall. The staff was professional and made us feel very welcome, taking into consideration our food intolerances, which was greatly appreciated.

The ambiance was a delightful mix of cozy and elegant, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere. A fun surprise awaited us at the end of our meal—a second room with a DJ, bar, darts, and a pool table, perfect for our entertainment.

Service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring we had everything we needed. The quality of the food was excellent, with the steak being particularly tasty. There was plenty of variety on the menu, and the dishes were nicely presented.

While I didn't check the prices since the company covered the bill, the restaurant's location was very convenient, right next to our hotel and a large underground garage.

During our visit, the waitress was quite rude, and she placed the dishes on the table rather harshly while serving the main courses. It felt disrespectful and disrupted the dining experience.

Wat een teleurstelling. De zeeeeeer beknopte kaart was echt wel een tegenvaller. Op een bepaald moment komt er een zeer gebrekkig Nederlands sprekend meisje aan onze tafel iets vragen zonder mondmasker. Niet coronaproof. Dit meisje kon amper iets bedienen op een deftige manier. Ze zag ook geen werk en bleef maar ergens staan en keek wat onwennig rond. Het aperitief aperol sprits proefde naar limonade : meer water dan aperol. Een ander meisje in de bediening deed echt haar best, de zaak draaide rond haar alertheid. Doch is er nog heel wat werk in de bediening. De koks droegen geen mondmasker of droegen het onder de kin. De pizza was aangebrand en was belegd met een saus die overheersend zouterig smaakte. We hebben het dan maar niet gewaagd om een dessert te nemen. Hoe spijtig is dit om op die manier een verjaardag te vieren.
