Twin's — Restaurant in Tielt

I ordered an espresso macchiato (an espresso with a small amount of milk), but was given a latte macchiato (milk with a small amount of coffee). When I pointed this out to the waiter, he simply said "that's a latte macchiato; we don't do espresso macchiatos". I then ordered an espresso, and we were charged full price for both drinks.

The actual espresso and the rest of the order was fine, nothing special but nothing worth complaining about.

Thanks for the passive aggressive response! I am sorry about your working conditions, but to me it would make more sense to complain to your managers or to join a union, not vent about it on a Google Maps review.

I am sorry that I tried to order something you didn't have, but surely it would make more sense to me to say "Sorry, we don't have that. Would you like xyz instead?" instead of giving me a more expensive drink that I didn't order?

I'm a usual client, I come to drink coffee not every morning, but very often. And I liked this place a lot since today. I was here to drink a coffee and they invited me to sit outside, because i didn't reserve a table and i didn't want to take breakfast.(It was cold outside).I find it very unpleasant and distrubing! Vandaag 18/10/24 heb ik een slechte/verschrikkelijke ervaring bij Twins in Tielt gehad. Ik ben rond 10u 's morgens langsgekomen voor ontbijten met een vriendin. Ze heeft een ontbijtmenu gevraagd en ik, een potje koffie en een glas verse sinaasappelsap. Volgens de serveerster mag dat niet. Ik moest ook een ontbijtmenu vragen. Sorry maar ik wil niet 25€ betalen voor een paar koffiekoeken. Mais bon, de serveerster heeft de gérante geroepen voor ons om uit te leggen dat wij 2 ontbijt menu's moeten vragen. Ik was er niet mee akkoord. Ik ben vertrokken zonder ontbijt. Ik ben 7 maanden zwanger en eerlijk gezegd, kan ik niet begrijpen wat er is gebeurd en ook hun manieren omgaan met een zwangere vrouw. Ik denk dat bij Twins alleen de portefeuille van de klant iets...
