This used to be a good place. Came here twice before.
We were 9 (4 kids) on a Thursday night. It took them 1,5 hours to bring us our food. Drinks took a long time to be served as well. There was one waitress in the restaurant. There were 4 guys in the kitchen, downing one half liter of beer after the other. These 4 guys were staring right at our table from their kitchen and counter. A table with no food and plenty of empty glasses, bottles. We were not given any bread. Empty glasses, excess cutlery, empty bottles were never removed from our table. They proposed to bring us a platter of side dishes to share, we accepted. It didn't happen. After 1h20 minutes of waiting I asked when our food would arrive. The waitress shrugged and responded "i guess soonish". We never got a response. 5 minutes later our food arrived. They mixed up a bunch of side dishes and such. The meat was over done. I didn't make a fuss because our kids were there and they were starving. We never bothered for desert. When the waitress asked how it was and I complained, she shrugged again and blamed everything on the kitchen. aparently our food was ready for a long time, but never came out. Whatever. During dinner we were stared at by the 4 kitchen staff, looking very arrogant at us. Not a single proposal was made to make a mence. It was a very bad experience.
Stay away from this place. Badly managed, bad communication, bad attitude, bad cooking. But...
Read morePassed by La Ferme des Loups and went in for a drink after a hike. The place looked great, clean and inviting, but I left within the minute due to the utter lack of hygiene. At the moment of the visit (and writing), we're in the fourth covid wave and face masks are mandatory in bars and restaurants. When asked by my party why two uppity elderly people in the entrance weren't wearing masks, they claimed to be the owners living on the property. When we asked a waiter why he wasn't wearing a mask, all we got was an annoyed look and "no, I don't wear a mask". He didn't even try to come up with an excuse. I do understand the reluctance to police patrons, but staff and owners showing a total disregard for others' health by not setting a good example... I do not recommend la Ferme des Loups: if they don't value their patrons' health, I figure there is no reason to let them...
Read moreLes sacs à dos enchantés n'ont d'enchanté que le nom. Vu le prix qui est demandé, le minimum aurait été de bien vérifier le contenu des sacs avant de nous les remettre. En effet, au moment choisi pour pique-niquer, nous constatons qu'il manquait deux bouteilles de cava 75cl.De plus, les box en carton contenant les portions de fromage et de charcuterie sont inadaptées. Le fromage fond sur la charcuterie, la charcuterie suinte… alors qu'il ne faisait que 20°C. Bravo la chaîne du froid. Pas sûr que l'AFSCA apprécierait. Quid de mettre à disposition des sacs à dos isothermes ? Ou de prévenir que le pique-nique doit être consommé dans les 20 minutes après le départ...A notre retour de la randonnée, nous avons signifié que les deux bouteilles de cava étaient manquantes. On nous a dit de nous installer en terrasse (il faisait beau au moins) et qu'on viendrait nous servir les deux bouteilles de cava. Fort bien… Belle initiative, sauf que … spécialité de "la Ferme des loups" : du cava tiède ! Imbuvable ! Et comme jamais deux sans trois, au moment de payer les autres consommations, nous nous sommes dit "soyons vigilants" avec la note … Et devinez quoi … Les deux cavas avaient été comptabilisés sur l'addition. On nous a (évidemment devrais-je dire) remboursé illico. Franchement, nous avons tous vécu cela comme une mauvaise expérience. Heureusement que les randonneurs étaient de bonne compagnie. Pour les glaces, j'ai lu quelque part en réponse à un avis négatif que les gens d'aujourd'hui n'ont plus le palais habitué aux saveurs d'antan ou qqch comme ça… c'est faux !
