La Stazione Alimentari — Restaurant in Uccle - Ukkel

Let's be clear : this place can be expensive. An Arancino for 6 euros and two meatballs for 12 euros are definitely on the expensive side.

BUT! The quality is all there. The arancini were a solid 9/10, with very generous portions, made me feel at home if not even better than home. Meatballs were tasty and abundant as well. I am sure all of the rest of the gastronomy will be awesome. So, when back in the neighborhood, I will definitely go back there, provided the quality remains the same.

I was really excited about discovering a new type of bar/restaurant. But in reality, it’s nothing more than an unsubtle copy-paste of another family-run wine bar/restaurant just 250 meters away. Same concept, similar decor (same tiles, same frames, same mirror), and a nearly identical menu featuring the same three pasta dishes. The restaurant is even open on exactly the same nights. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le lieu, entre traiteur-épicerie (que je recommande très vivement) et brasserie. L'équipe (tant service que traiteur) est vraiment top et les produits sont bons !

Je reste cependant mitigé sur le fait que le menu soit changeant et non fixe.

C'est compliqué lorsqu'on vient manger avec une personne ayant des restrictions et a qui on propose des pâtes au beurre à 20€ l'assiette.

D'un autre coté, si vous n'avez pas de restrictions, ça vous garanti des produits frais, de qualité et vous mangerez bien.

Globalement les prix sont un peu élevés pour un italien, mais vous y mangez de bonnes choses. Les portions sont un peu juste pour les bons mangeurs, mais ça peut vous motiver à gouter plusieurs plats. Laissez vous tenter, ça vaut la peine de...
