Nice place and very good food! We had a good time despite the irascible owner who kept reminding us (in harsh tone) that we were 6 instead of 8 and we didn't call to change the booking. Yes, we should have called. We apologized. We are still sorry, 2 of our group got a bad flu and told us in the afternoon that they preferred staying home. It was a Thursday evening, the restaurant was 2/3 busy, if that. I think just telling us the 1 time would have sufficed. It was a life saver on a cold Sunday morning on Dec 30. We just spent a morning in the not-so-nearby Abbey d'Orval. We googled and found this restaurant to be like 30 km away. It was a near full house. This was a nice little quiet Belgian village. The staff and place were both warm. The menu was in French, of course. We managed by body language.
