Eat it Pizzeria (Wavre) — Restaurant in Wavre

I absolutely do not recommend this place. We came here for lunch. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, but they never brought us the menus, so I had to go get them myself. We ordered a Parmigiana pizza and another dish.

We waited quite a while for the food, and when it finally arrived, it was a completely different kind of pizza. I told the waiter it wasn’t what I had ordered. When he went to tell the kitchen about the mistake, we could hear a loud crash of kitchen tools being slammed down.

After a while, the Parmigiana pizza came, and I was shocked. There were just a few thin slices of zucchini on top. A Parmigiana must have eggplant on it. Yet when the waiter brought this pizza, he said nothing to us.

I wondered if perhaps in this restaurant “Parmigiana pizza” meant zucchini instead of eggplant, but when I checked the menu, it clearly listed “eggplant” as an ingredient. To not only mess up the order but then try to cover it up by swapping ingredients is astonishing.

I am appalled that they would dare to pull such a stunt. There was no apology—instead, they got defensive and, as if to spite us, deliberately substituted the topping.

The steak was tough, and the side of pasta was far too soft. The only thing done right was the cooking level of the meat.

This is the worst restaurant ever. It is nothing...

Nous avions réservé une table il y a une semaine et nous avons été très déçu.... C'était digne d'un épisode de Cauchemard en cuisine ahaha 😅 Tout d'abord nous sommes arrivé, et une fois installé et avoir bien lu la carte on nous préviens qu'il n'y a pas de pizza (la moitié de la carte sont des pizza), que c'est le 1er jour de reprise par un nouveau gérant, et que le cuisinier n'est pas la car il se trouve dans les bouchons. Nous avions du attendre très longtemps pour recevoir nos plats, tandis qu'en cuisine nous pouvons assister au personnel qui se prend la tête. Évidemment, les informations comme le fait qu'il n'y a pas de pizza n'est ni communiqué au téléphone lors de la réservation, ni sur place lorsqu'on arrive, ils attendent bien qu'on soit installer pour éviter que l'on parte. Et pour finir, le point le plus marrant de cette soirée fût la vue du serveur qui accepte un Apérol Spritz à des clients (qui sûrement n'en avait pas en réserve), et donc par la fenêtre, il est aperçu en train de courir et ressortir de la pompe à essence d'en face avec une bouteille de Spritz à la main ! Malgré tout, le repas était très bon malgré les problèmes survenus. Le serveur était très serviable également. Malheureusement, à la fin il n'y a même pas eut de geste commercial.... We were looking for a place to eat while traveling and decided to try this restaurant. The experience was fantastic! The atmosphere was very cozy, the food was superb, and the service was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Gnocchi Carbonara and Puglia Pizza, both of which were delicious and served in generous portions.
