De Gouden Muts — Restaurant in Westerlo

What an amazing experience! This restaurant is phenomenal! My husband and I were visiting our son, a professional footballer for KVC Westerlo, and we were lucky enough to meet a wonderful couple whose son, Cedric, is the sous chef. We were so happy that they managed to fit us in for a Monday evening reservation. We are “foodies” and love to eat out in America, but this place far exceeded our expectations. They treated the three of us like royalty! The service was spectacular, and we truly had the best table in the house. We loved watching the kitchen work their magic. We had a five course meal with wine pairings, and it was exquisite. Each course was beautifully presented, and the uniqueness and flavors were simply incredible. The owners are such lovely people, and every member of their staff is overflowing with talent. This was our first exposure to gourmet Belgian cuisine, and we were so fortunate to be introduced to De Gouden Muts. It was a highlight of our trip from America, and we cannot wait to get back there. We are so gracious to Rudy, Evi, and Cedric....

Zondag weer gaan eten deze keer met gans ons familietje ,kids,kleinkids en Bonnetje en wij de sfeer was goed,het eten heel lekker voor de mannen de aangepaste wijnen uitstekend , de kinderen mochten a la carte kiezen dat is een heel groot pluspunt van Evy en Rudy omdat we toch met een tafel van 8 personen waren ,de 5 gangen menu was heel lekker 😋 de bediening goed en Jan met zijn wijnen top ,het was weer een heel gezellige en lekkere namiddag in de Gouden muts ,weer tevreden buiten...
