We visited here just before Valentine’s Day so there was no menu to select from however the menu of the day was very good. We had a 4 course diner which was to good for that price en we sat there from 19:00 till 23:00 hours and went away with good feeling’s about this restaurant we will surely visit them again.

Bit of a disappointment. I was expecting a massive crater and what you get is more a wood with a few mounds and some monuments to the fallen. Nature is taking over again. The wooden walkway makes it very accessible and there are some very interesting information. Visit to remember all of those who passed away.

Hill 62 has more to see and do, including a museum and trenches, but Hill 60 was left untouched after the war an features the true landscape after the war. There is also a massive hole created by an allied bomb that was tunneled under German troops. Great site overall!

Food was ok, a bit price for what was offered Staff quite rude to be honest. I didnt like to see how one of the waitress treated a person who came to ask to use the toilet! They charged for the use, which is ok & completely understandable, but no need to be rude and snobby! It was quite embarrassing to see really! Should complain with the council to not offer a public toilet in the tourist area, not treat...

We were approached outside by an agitated front of house gentleman. We arrived 10 minutes before opening and his behavior was the despicable and atrocious. He was so annoyed he had trouble getting his words out… we didn’t hang around so we retreated and moved on🄹 We had had a very moving 15 minutes prior to arriving at the restaurant… so this experience made feel very upset...

A place that allows you to peacefully reflect on the awful events that occurred there during the Great War. The crater is huge and the story behind it, fascinating. It's free to park at and enter the site, but can be busy with school field trips at times. Anyone visiting Ieper should take the 15 minute drive and pay a visit to Hill 60, spend an hour or so there, it's...
