Pizza Hut Zaventem — Restaurant in Zaventem

Friendly staff, but the building is in decline. The salad bar was quite disappointing, just bits and pieces left. The pizzas were good for a fast-food chain. Unlike the people I was with, I did not feel like pizza. The chef's menu is rather disappointing: undercooked shrimp, undercooked fries, and my main dish came much later than the pizzas. A bit annoying. They did everything to compensate for the bad experience, which is nice. But it was a bad experience nevertheless.

Update after six years:

The salad bar is gone now. It's still the same building, but it has declined even more. The ice cream machine is broken, so no soft ice for us.

I asked for a pizza margarita with mushrooms on it, but there were no mushrooms. There are only two veggie options on the menu. It feels like this place has stood still in time, and not in a good way or from a romantic point of view. It feels rather gloomy and let down. I am pretty sure the only reason this Pizza Hut is still open is because of all the traffic passing by. Which makes the fact that they have an outdoor seating area, completely redundant.

Staff tries, but fails to deliver, sitting here for 1 hour, have seen 3 guest complain. One about a dirty pint of beer, a couple kept on waiting for their pizza as they left, the pizza was ready, they wanted to eat at the place, but were forced to take away. Another person got the wrong pizza. Oh yeah so did I.

No not...

This Pizza Hut restaurant was epic! The buffet which starts from around midday, was amazing! You get a variety of pan pizzas (no flat base pizza, just pan ones) and you have plenty to choose! There was also a full salad bar available, with all kinds of salad and dressings to fill your appetite! The beverages were great, I took a Pepsi which really made my day! and so was the ice cream dessert with plenty of dressings available for you to help yourself with!

You will like: The friendly staff, the Pizza Hut atmosphere, the location, the quality of the restaurant interior, and the variety of choices you get for a good meal!

You may feel odd about: The fact that the restaurant is a bit small, not as busy as other Pizza Huts, like the ones inside the city of Brussels. That's probably due to the fact that there's an Ikea just nearby. This aspect is nothing wrong, it's an acquired taste, some people will love the silence, some people will find it boring. I didn't bother about it since I loved this restaurant!...

Unfortunately a very negative experience. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and I don’t know where to begin.

It was hot inside, no air circulation, we waited for the staff to take our order for almost half an hour, but it wasn’t their fault, they were just understaffed, too many people and too few workers.

On one machine there was no more pepsi and on the other there was no 7up.

Then we waited for our pizza to finally arrive after half an hour and the one I got, barbecue chicken was very bad, my stomach hurt later in the evening, even though the pizza was great in other pizza hut locations I tried.

And then when we went to pay, the card machine wasn’t working so we had to pay by cash. I won’t even comment the price of the pizza compared to the quality and size…

All in all, not a pleasant...
