So, where do I start? Before visiting, I checked the reviews as usual. I saw an average of 4, so I thought it could be good, but then I read the 1-star reviews. Oftentimes, 1-star reviews are just frustrated people who trash a place or product for some ridiculous reason, but not here; all the 1-star reviews I read seemed to be written by people who enjoy good food. Well, I'm one of those people and here comes my 1-star review...

First off, service is absolutely terrible. Waiters keep roaming around the tables in an attempt to take your plate the second you empty it. They often tried to take our plates before we were even finished, as if they had some sort of prize for the waiter who brings back the most. Why they wouldn't just let us keep our plates between servings is beyond me. The waiters were definitely not the kind who do their job seamlessly while you barely notice them.

So, the food... Sure, there's a lot of choice, but as some other reviews rightly put it, the choice is mostly between disappointment and... more disappointment. In an attempt to serve every type of cuisine, they completely fail to master even one. I've had better food at school cafeterias. The desserts clearly came right out of the freezer, so it wouldn't surprise me if everything they serve comes in frozen. To top it all off, food was only lukewarm at best, despite the fact that everything is on heaters.

For 30 euros, you can clearly eat much, much better. Hechi puts quantity over quality, and it clearly shows. Don't be like me, avoid this place like the plague and spend your money at a place that...

Very bad experience with that place. First of all, they charge you before you even take your table (now I understand why). They charge a 1 years old baby who even doesn't eat anything in the restaurant!! The food has a bad quality, poorly made (some were mushy, some were burnt, bad taste for everything we tried). The choice of food is big but it's clear that they value quantity over the quality, so nothing looks attractive. Almost non-existent service. Flies in the restaurant sitting on sushi and no one cares. The atmosphere like in a cheap kitsch Chinese restaurant which pretends to be a luxury place. We surely...

Hechi Zemst is a nice spot if you’re looking for an Asian buffet with plenty of variety. The food tastes good overall, though the fruit options are quite limited and the desserts are on the simpler side. What’s great is the unlimited drinks—you can help yourself to soda, sparkling water, slushies, coffee, and even hot chocolate. Wine is available too, but that’s extra. All in all, it’s a good place to enjoy a relaxed meal and try different flavors.

International kitchen, free wifi available. Do no forget the dim sum stand at the far right. Please take a plate and wait for the cook to help you. The bamboo boxes are very very hot. Large seating area reservation is not required. All you can eat restaurant for 2 or 3 hours. Soft drinks and coffee included in standard price.
