The Snax — Restaurant in Zemst

This is an american themed burger restaurant run by 2 people, the owners.

My order : swissburger Price : 11 euros (only in cash or with an application..)

The restaurant is located in a very calm street. Buses 280, 681 and 510 do stop nearby. There is no dedicated parking, however, there is enough free public parking space on the side of the road 👍🏻

The restaurant itself is on the side of an american styled 3 facade house. The entrance is also located on the side.

On the inside, the place is US themed. It is filled with typical american signs, slogans, brands, accessories and products. Everything is very well displayed. Great vibes ! Watch out for the little details, jokes and Easter eggs displayed all over the place ! Note that some sentences are in dutch. My favorite part by far is the bathroom area ! There is enough sitting area considering it is a small business. Outdoors sitting area available too 👍🏻 they have background music playing on perfect volume, they offer their playlist if you’re interested.

The Menu is very rich. It includes a huge selection of burgers in every imaginable way ! It also fits the rest of the american theme 👍🏻 Prices however are a bit on the higher side, this is not a fast food chain etc.. One unfortunate thing is that there are no fries on the menu, wich is very odd and unusual.

You order your burger on the counter directly from the owners who also prepare the meal. Both are very gentle and friendly ! There was constantly a pleasant smile on their faces ! Communication is possible in english 👍🏻

The burger was served to my table. It is a generous burger with very delicious buns. The patty is rather thick and well cooked ! I really recommend the swissburger for cheese lovers like myself 👍🏻 The portion is enough for an adult however double and tripple patty is available too. The big farmers are the ones recommend by the owners 👍🏻

Free toilets available at the back. Very clean.

The place gets busy during luch time so you’ll have to wait a bit. However, once you order, the burger arrives relatively quickly 👍🏻 it seems like it’s a hotspot in the neighbourhood !

Overall it was a very pleasant experience ! Very much recommended place and definitely worth the price tag !...

I'm Canadian and my friend has wanted to bring me here for a decade, so I finally came to Belgium to try it. The restaurant looks great and there are plenty of options on the menu (albeit with some spelling errors, haha!) but unfortunately it is NOT suitable for people with a gluten allergy. Even though the menu claims that they can cater to gluten-free people who bring their own buns, all of the burgers (beef, chicken, fish and veggie) have gluten in them. The man behind the counter did his best to find an alternative - offering chicken fillet or a stack of bacon instead of a burger - which was nice, but sadly not really what I expected, so we decided to eat elsewhere (which proved to be quite difficult at 20:00 on a Sunday in BE, as someone with a gluten allergy).

Super cozy, lovely staff, great burgers and a great choice of them as well. Fully US themed, including the drinks (Dr. Pepper, Bud, mountain dew,...). You can also sit outside in the summer and park your car in the back. (Places are limited though, so you should probably park your car on the side of the road.) It can be pretty busy there as there are only 2 people working and the burgers are just that good. The only thing I'm going to retract a star for is that you can only pay with cash. I never bring cash in this day and age so I would have to bank just to be able to pay, which is a pain.
