I donβt recommend tourist to dine at this restaurant. The location was beautiful and the restaurant is very nice, food was good. The food was more American and I was looking for Belize style food. The problem Came when I sat down and looked over the menu. The prices were more than a nice restaurant in the US. What they do is provide a separate menu for tourist with the prices in US dollar. The other menu is listed in Belize dollars which the transfer rate is 2 Belize dollars for one US dollar. So the prices donβt look much different but it seems as tho they want a tourist to pay twice what a local patron pays. They actually have the audacity to put on the customers receipt that they are being charged from tourist menu. Straight up scamming people. I had a taxi recommend this place and he went in with us. Iβm guessing his fee for bringing tourist was free food and drink since he didnβt pay for anything. If it wasnβt for my daughters bday i wouldβve left. I allowed her to enjoy herself and choose not to buy anything for myself. I tried one of my daughters wings and they were good. I also didnβt say anything since the taxi guy recommended and he was our ride to port for our cruise and I didnβt want to be left by him if I said what I wanted too one hour before needing to return to port. Beyond ridiculous they must think tourist are stupid. Iβm not stupid and def saw what was going on. ...

Β Β Β Read moreToday we had lunch at Municipal Airport - Admirals. Our order was taken at 3:30, we explained we were on a 4:30 flight. 3 of us received our food at 4:00 and enjoyed our food. The forth order did not arrive at the table until 4:20 after we were finished eating. Instead of apologizing the manager took it upon herself to have the waitress tell we had to pay for the food the 4th person ordered. We paid for the food we consumed and left very disappointed! I would not waste my time again going to Admirals, there are better restaurants with conscientious managers...
