Amazing! Our highlight of the trip. Seriously. It was an more of an amazing experience, rather than just a diner.

The boat picked us up, and it was a very comfortable 5-minute boat ride with soft, comfortable seats. The staff met us very pleasantly on the dock and showed us around. The place vibe was great! The food was absolutely divine, bursting with flavor in every bite. The service was impeccable and attentive. Our bartender Nelson and our waitress (sorry didn't catch your name!) told us about all the dishes with such a passion and enthusiasm! Cocktails were really great! Best ones I had in a long time! Bravo!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and pampered. Every dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and expertly prepared. The drinks were perfectly crafted, complementing the meal flawlessly. We left feeling completely satisfied and a pitch of regret that we are leaving tomorrow back home and didn't find this place earlier. It's a must-try dining experience! Don't be discouraged by the boat ride, it is very pleasant and quick! This place definitely deserves a Michelin star.

Had an amazing evening at Akasha in San Pedro, Belize! This place is a must visit if you're on the island. Its one of a kind for the area and the food will keep you craving it for time to come. Chef Carlos gave us a tour of his kitchen and showed us how the magic happens. 🍴✨ He has truly mastered his craft coming up with amazing dishes and flavors that truly wowed us. After tasting all his dishes we can conclude that this is the best octopus ever! 🐙 Seriously, it was incredible and we've tried many restaurants. We also really enjoyed the octopus empanadas, something we've never tried before. And the drinks? Total showstoppers—thanks to some genius mixology. 🍹 Shoutout to our hosts at Ixchel Wellness Resort, just minutes away, for pointing us to this gem. The vibe here? A five minute water taxi across the bay may as well be to another universe. Akasha, the signature restaurant at the equally stunning (and brand new) Aruna Resort, is a celebration of flavor and technique. You arrive to a two story restaunt at the end of a pier - surrounded by the bay. We got seated as the sun was setting and it took our breath away.

The food - spectacular. We started with a black bean hummus, then shared pork belly’s, red snapper and rice and chicken empanadas. The corn tortillas served with the pork are an example of their attention to detail…beautiful hand pressed and tri-colored. The snapper though stole the show. We finished with the date cake, which I didn’t get a picture of because it was gone too quickly.

Get here before it’s famous and impossible to get in. This chef can quite literally transform the entire food profile of the island.
