This is the best place in town for tourists to sit in air conditioning and wait for the boat to leave. But don't be rude, buy plenty of things so you're not just taking up space.

Grace’s Restaurant in Punta Gorda is a must-visit if you’re in southern Belize. We stopped in for lunch and were blown away by how good everything was. I had the classic chicken with rice and beans, and it was absolutely perfect. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the rice and beans were exactly what I love about Belizean cooking—rich, comforting, and cooked just right. A true 10/10.

My wife had the grilled chicken breast with the same rice and beans and also thought it was excellent. Simple, authentic, and done right.

The room was very clean and came with an air-conditioned and a wall fan. The bed is comfortable. Our room also had a small refrigerator, a small table and chair. The bathroom was not spacious enough for two people to move around freely, but it didn't really matter to us. It was very clean, had hot and cold showers, and the water pressure was good. The price for the room was also reasonable. I would definitely choose Grace's Restaurant and Hotel again when visiting...

First off they have AC now that's not the most important thing but it is something you should definitely take into account if there's a heat wave. Service is pretty good And there's nothing on the menu that's going to disappoint you from my experience. When we were there they had a lamb curry that was absolutely fantastic.
