Sala’s Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in San Pedro Town

This place is incredibly trendy for San Pedro. The owner provided a personal touch for our dinner and was very easy to talk to. It was clear she's worked hard to build a quality hotel and restaurant.

The food is really good and there's a completely separate lobster menu that's worth checking out. The portions are enough (including the lobster ones) to ensure you're getting your money's worth.

The drink menu is fairly substantial with most (unsurprisingly) having Carribbean influence.

It's a little far (about 6 km) south of town on paved and unpaved roads, the latter of which can be pretty bumpy in your golf cart. But that should not dissuade you from going because it means it's quiet and away from the busy...

On the far south side of the island we found this gem of a restaurant. Yes, it’s a little bumpy getting there - but hey, this is what we expect in most areas on this island - it’s part of the adventure. The hotel is beautiful and the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view. We missed the sunset due to poor planning on our part but will definitely come back for that! The food was delicious - we had shrimp ceviche, blackened snapper, Caesar salad and shrimp appetizer. All were delicious. Found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. The drinks were good and strong, the food was scrumptious. Wish I'd taken pictures, but we were having too much fun getting to know the staff. We went here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Enjoyed the conch ceviche, shrimp tacos, grilled lobster tacos and the fillet mignon. Very laid back atmosphere with the opportunity to chat with a variety of folks if you desire.
