Sittee River Marina & The Curve Bar — Restaurant in Stann Creek District

We came here for a happy hour drink and they weren't serving food at the time. The setting is gorgeous (bring bug spray!!) Over looking the river and the lady working the bar was super sweet. We got two beers and juice for the kids. The beer was 4bzd during happy hour, rum drinks 5bzd, and a large glass of juice was 3bzd. Super reasonable prices, beautiful setting, and sweet staff! If you're visiting Hopkins check this place out (we walked most of the way and then hitched a ride there and back as it's an hour walk which I recommend making a day trip and walking along the beach if you're staying in Hopkins- get there in time for...

Been going to the Curve Bar since it 1st open. Last time was very disappointing. We had a great waitress, tropic drinks good and the beer was ice cold. Food was the problem. Nice menu until we were told they basically had nothing listed. We asked about lobster or conch fritters not available. Final question what do you have? answer: Nachos. Figured out Curve Bar was under same bad management of the Marina. My advise the Owner needs to take a real hard look at what is going on at this whole operation. This was the highlight of our trip to Belize! The captain Elton Andrews and his partner Valentino were wonderful, funny, and great guides. Before you get on the boat, you can grab whatever else you need to buy at the shop in front of the dock. We went to Bread and Butter Caye and another island for snorkeling. I didn't snorkel so I swam on the shore of the island we docked at. Everyone that snorkeled was so happy with their experience! I'll remember this...
