Food Hub Somerset Road — Restaurant in Somerset Island

Been ordering here for years when visiting and now that we moved to the island thought they’d be a great option for the kids! Nope. It’s best to go to just visit a local restaurant because their prices for the portions are out of this world and lackluster. I’d use other words to explain but don’t want to bash this business, just want to be honest. We paid $7.50 for a milkshake thats was literally smaller than a cup measurement! That’s just incredibly greedy imo…. Quality control also dropped significantly! Not sure if this spot got bought out but if not, really think the management team should rethink their entire pricing model for what essentially is Dominos level food yet selling at restaurant pricing. Only thing I recommend their pizza if you’re in a desperate situation. Topping quality aren’t going to be the best but pepperoni seems too be consistent. Our resort WillowBank has no lunch or dinner so when we arrived late mid afternoon and hungry we were given this location in Sandy’s and ordered a pizza and bread sticks to make the $20 minimum. They said 30 minutes but came faster to our door which was convenient . Like fast food it was OK but with all the restaurants to try there was no need to reorder. We love the pizza here but it is very pricey. $$$ take out but they do have a little table on the side by parking. They offer a plethera of options for pizza and other foods as well. This place is always clean and always loaded with cold drinks and sweets in their fridges out front. The staff at this location is very friendly...
