The restaurant does well in showcasing art rather than serving food. The rooms were decorated each with a different theme and were visually pleasing. However the prayer flag room was decorated with 'mii-shii' flags or Manidhar, the flags that we hoist for the dead. So from a cultural context, it might not be as appropriate to dine and wine in a room full of flags for the dead. Artistic none the less.
From a food perspective, I feel it's not as flavourful and authentic as a traditional Bhutanese cuisine is. This kind of reminds me of the Indian dish version we get in the Western countries. Almost feels like the food is more of 'whitewashed-Bhutanese cuisine.' Oh and the potion size is also very western....
