Como en Casa Torotoro — Restaurant in Municipio Toro Toro

This was one of our favourite stays in our 8 months of travel. The home stay/Hostel was run by a lovely couple - Griselda and Gualberto - who were super friendly and attentive, and dedicated to making sure we were looked after and had a great stay. Griselda’s cooking every evening for dinner was so delicious and healthy, using simple local ingredients. And the breakfast was great, with freshly made juice from their Tumbo tree everyday. The accommodation had three beautiful dogs which absolutely made our stay even better, as every morning and evening we’d be greeted by them coming to us for a cuddle! Gualberto helped us contact local people to arrange transport (before we even arrived!) and advised us who to speak to in town for tours and guides. Cannot recommend...

This was the perfect spot for our family to stay during our time in ToroToro.

Our hosts were wonderful, accommodating , friendly, and attentive. Breakfasts were complete with eggs, bread, fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and hot chocolate. Every night for dinner we were offered 4 options ( different from the night before). Food was delicious. We also purchased boxed lunches which hit the spot after a morning on the trail. Being on the edge of town meant it was close to everything while still being very tranquil at night.

The rooms were spacious and clean and while the shower took a minute to figure out- once we did- we had hot water. The hosts also put hammocks up on the upper terrace to enjoy the evening.

Would highly recommend for visitors...

A charming little hotel in a quaint town, run by a lovely couple who make you feel right at home.

The rooms are spacious, and the shower room is modern, clean, and well-maintained. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.

The hotel is just a short walk from the town center. If you’re arriving by bus, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the hotel—they're usually very accommodating. When leaving, the bus company may even arrange to pick you up.

The hosts are well-connected and know the right people to enhance your stay.
