Luna Rosa Sarona City Mall — Restaurant in South-East District

I was here 8 May 25 with my girlfriend because we heard they have a Ribs and Wings special which comes with a bottle of wine, we were disappointed to hear that they don't have dry red wine that comes with the special. We were then told that we can order other drinks that we would need to pay for, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous, I refused to order and suggested that the waiter should rather be offering me another dry red wine (even if it meant I pay a difference), he then said we must wait for the manager who apparently was at PNP. When the manager got back he didn't even bother to come chat to us, I just saw the waiter speaking to him and eventually coming back to us to let us know that we can give them our number and then they will call us to come get our wine the next day, which basically meant we had to order separate drinks for the night. This move did not make sense at all to me, I have never heard of this kind of customer service. It was my girlfriend's birthday so I didn't wanna cause a scene, so I paid for the water I had ordered and we went to eat somewhere else. The manager of the place needs to learn customer service from his waiters, I mean the waiter actually did a 10 times better job than the manager. The manager simply has a bad attitude. I first visited the restuarant in the late afternoon and honestly, that would be the best time to visit. There is such a beautiful view of the sun setting which you can see through the the floor the ceiling windows.

The service was excellent, we were quickly seated and the waitress was very helpful when it came to drink and food recommendations.

Speaking of the food and drinks, they were amazing. Great flavors and all incredibly well balanced. Also, this place would be ideal for any form of content creation as all the food and drinks are presented in a very aesthetically pleasing way.

The music was great and it was honestly the best time and place to enjoy a "Tequila Sunrise"- at Luna Rosa at sunset.

At first glance, I thought Luna Rosa was just a casual hangout for youngsters with beer and cider — nothing special when it comes to food. One day, I stepped inside by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise.

The interior is magical and classy, creating the perfect atmosphere. Prices are reasonable — I tried their mocktails, which were refreshing and well-priced. Then came the highlight: the pizza.

Having been a cook before, and knowing authentic Italian pizzas well, I can confidently say this was the first time in 12 years I tasted a real Italian pizza in Gaborone. The flavors, sauces, and overall authenticity were outstanding.
