Restaurante Sollo — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Aracaju

BEWARE: Our recent visit to Sollo Restaurant was really bad, a big letdown compared to our great visit three years ago. Right away, things went wrong when we got there and our table wasn't ready even though we had a reservation. It got worse when a waiter spilled a drink on me and didn't even say sorry. Then, our drinks showed up after we already got our appetizers, which messed up the order of our meal.

When it was time for our main dishes, they came out slow and not all at once. We noticed two dishes we asked for never came. When we finally got one of them, the other was still missing. By the time the last dish arrived, everyone else was done eating. Through all of this, no one from the restaurant said sorry or seemed to care. They wouldn’t even come to our table to discuss what happened or apologize.

The worst part was they still expected us to pay extra for service after such a terrible experience. Because of their lack of response at the restaurant, we expect they will not reply to this review either. We were really disappointed and have decided we won't go back. The restaurant had a warm candlelit ambience and a rustic sailors interior decor. The manager spoke good English and provided an attentive service. The shrimp risotto was one of the best I’ve ordered in Brazil. The risotto rice was cooked perfectly al dente with just the right amount of moisture. The prawns were added in with perfect timing, to prevent being over cooked in the risotto; this is rare as more often than not the shrimp in risottos are over cooked and have a rubber texture. O ambiente é lindo, espaçoso, ventilado e bem aconchegante. Tem espaços diferenciados para quem quiser mesas mais pra dentro, uma coisa mais intimista e há várias mesas no gramado e ao redor de onde geralmente acontece a apresentação musical. Eu sugeriria que também dispusessem mesas menores no gramado, tipo mesinhas de café mesmo ou algo assim, pois as mesas são enormes e, provavelmente por causa dos hóspedes, mas vi grupos pequenos e casais que queriam ficar por ali e seria mais confortável do que ocupar mesas pra 6 pessoas ou mais, sendo que ficou óbvio que pessoas vêm de fora também para apreciar a música e o restaurante.

O cardápio é bem variado, há uma boa variedade de vinhos, mas alguns preços são um pouco caros se comparado a outros restaurantes de praia e se levado em consideração o custo-benefício.

O atendimento não deixou a desejar, fui super bem atendida. Mas não entendi porque os atendentes estavam anotando os pedidos sendo que muitos lugares hoje (e lugares simples) fazem o registro dos pedidos e controle da conta na própria máquina. Não sei se foi algo do dia, mas se ainda estão nessa, não justifica, dá muito mais trabalho pros garçons e atendentes. Houve erro na minha conta e eu precisei corrigir TRÊS vezes. Com os valores que o restaurante cobra de pratos extremamente simples, por exemplo, ao menos que a logística seja melhorada nesse sentido, pois é melhor para os garçons e para os clientes e os dois lados ganham e ficsm satisfeitos.
